Health Education Offered:

Metrolina Internal Medicine, PA offers chronic disease management classes and weigh-management nutrition classes monthly at the Randolph Road location for all applicable patients in our practice.

Diabetes Education: Understanding A1c and learn ways to improve diabetes. Patients will learn blood sugar management, diabetic-friendly meal planning and medication management.
Weight Management/Nutrition: Losing weight can help you better control or avoid certain medical issues. Patient will understand BMI, caloric diet intake, carbohydrate counting and ways to cook a balanced meal.
Smoking Intervention: Smoking Cessation resources and counseling. Patients will understand the effects of smoking, the benefits of quitting and gain useful cessation tools/aids. Therapy Services:

A co-management agreement establishes a relationship between primary care providers and specialists to set guidelines for information-sharing across practices. These agreements can be beneficial as they help practices and specialists support each other in providing more efficient coordinated care to the patient.
